The latest iPhone is out and as always, Apple has made it to the headlines but for the wrong reasons. The latest generation has given some promising features that have surely compelled the masses to get this smartphone right away from the launch.

Speaking of which, if you’re waiting to get yours, then you’ll probably have to wait for it a little longer since the stock’s out the moment it began sales. However, it’s Apple, and you’ll probably get your hands on the model soon enough.

    Table Of Contents show
    1 The Striking Features
1.1 The USB C Port is Finally Here
    1.2 Dynamic Island
    1.3 A16 Bionic Chip
    2 What’s Hot About iPhone 15?
2.1 Reason for iPhone 15 Getting Hot
    2.2 Final Thoughts

    The Striking Features

Well, we should be looking at the striking features that make the iPhone 15 stand out from the rest of the competitors as well as its ancestors. You might’ve already found out about it from numerous articles on the internet as well as review videos on YouTube, but we’ll share a bite too:

The USB C Port is Finally Here

After years of trying and planning, just like we take time to move on from our sour exes, Apple moved on as well and adopted the USB C feature for its latest phones. The USB-C port provides faster and more convenient charging, giving customers a sigh of relief. However, if you’re concerned about the safety of the device, you’re directed to use only Apple-certified cables.

    Dynamic Island

The Dynamic Island notch debuted in the 14 Pro lineup. However, this year, it has become part of the latest model. It rests alongside the TrueDepth camera as well as other sensors on the front. The added software helps hide the physical components, adapting to the display information and allowing more room for user interaction.

    A16 Bionic Chip

As for performance, the iPhone 15 comes with an A16 Bionic chip that delivers the kick the user needs. With improved performance, it uses 20% less battery and gives more memory bandwidth too. In addition, the new model is also supposed to be running high-tier games without any hassle.

    What’s Hot About iPhone 15?

Although the above features are enough to make it a sizzling model that one should have, apparently there’s another reason for it and that’s not good. As per the initial reviews from the users who have luckily bought their new phone, it’s getting pretty hot.

How much? Over 116F! Yes, you read it right! A lot of reviews are coming in, users are facing overheating issues with almost all models of iPhone 15. Not only this, but people have shared infrared images of the phone, which shows a great deal of heat generated on the phone.

What’s astonishing is that this heat isn’t even generated when there’s something extensively going on with the phone. Owners have reported that the phone gets immensely hot even with normal usage, including scrolling, shifting apps, watching reels, etc. reporting that it gets hot enough to even hold the phone without a case.

And that is something to worry about since the users have reported not charging nor using it for gaming or any other extensive tasks. The left side rail on the left side gets the hottest, which can be related to having the logic board; however, the amount of heat generated is questionable.

In addition, when charging, users experienced that above 70%, the phone was still hot; however, it was comfortable to hold it. On the other hand, using or even holding the phone for 25-60% was worst since the device would get immensely hot.

So, as we have discussed, there are several reasons for the new iPhone 15’s heating issues and you can’t do much about the hardware or software issues until a new update is released to fix it. However, what you can do in the meantime is subscribe to a lightning-fast and reliable internet that can ease the pressure.

Herein, one good option is looking for Xfinity in your area for a smooth, seamless, and error-free iPhone experience. For more information, you can contact the Xfinity customer service team to sign up for the plan of your choice today.

Reason for iPhone 15 Getting Hot

One of the reasons why the latest phones are getting hot is the shifting of data from iCloud backup. As a result, numerous apps and processes are running in the background, which can result in this heat.

These can include reinstalling apps, re-indexing, etc. However, it would be justified when users would report this issue if they’re still in this phase. However, the reviews are coming from users who have already passed the setup stage and are using their phones.

Some reviews have stated the phone getting warmer, even without being plugged in for charging or gaming, especially from the right side under the camera.

    Final Thoughts

From the looks of it, the new phone has made quite an impact; however, such an issue can undermine sales and overall brand value, tarnishing the company’s profile. The users have already been slightly upset about Apple’s failure to bring true innovation, and with this issue, Apple’s got a lot to defend.
